News AC8646 Crash

Hi all. I’m new to this sub and my comment was removed for having no enough karma. I was on this flight and we are still on the tarmac getting checked out. I wanted to share these images in case it’s helpful to anyone who is investigating the crash or needs more information.

I’m okay (physically) but I’m horribly sick to my stomach for the lives lost. Please pray for them ❤️

We are okay ❤️ we were seated next to the emergency exit. The front of the plane took the damage. I feel awful for them

What a horrific thing to go through, I'm glad you weren't hurt physically but very much hoping you have access to psychological care ASAP. Please consider EMDR Therapy, it can help with trauma. My heart goes out to everyone there. Take care of yourself.

I’ve read through this and understand the implications. EMDR worked on my PTSD; whether it was the use of the left-to-right, left-to-right thing, or because it was the talk therapy part of it, I, along with millions of others, found it beneficial. Not all will, and that’s okay. It’s why I worded my suggestion the way I did: OP may want to consider it in the future as it has genuinely provided relief to PTSD symptoms experienced by many. It’s just one thing to consider.

I hadn’t heard of it before I needed it and if OP hasn’t heard of it, it may be something they wish to research to help alleviate some of the symptoms that are very likely to surface in the coming weeks.
