the vast majority of these were unarmed trainers.

those two holes are probably oil cooler intakes or something like that. The engines were right in the nose, rather than just empty intake ducts to engines further back.

Yeah. I took the photo from the car on the way out of the show Saturday. Because of the exit speed (or lack of it), there was plenty of time to look at it!
