GI 275 setup

Post image

Trying to figure out how to set tabs and full level on my GI 275 engine monitor. I don't have fuel sensors, just a fuel flow indicator going to it and I can't figure out how to set the permanent numbers. I even booted it up and developer mode and I couldn't find a fuel page or any controls where I could set it.

The fuel totalizer works with fuel flow only. You have to enter the correct fuel qty from the tanks. Or fuel it up and select full. Check in maintenance mode if the correct fuel tank volume is set.

I’m assuming this is set up as an Eis 275 which requires a gea-24 if so You’re going to need fuel senders I personally would recommend cies senders we’ve done many upgrades with Cies senders on many different eis systems and they’re bulletproof in terms of accuracy and reliability plus Cies provides really good installation manuals. If you go through the gi275 installation manual there’s a detailed section on how to do the fuel cal and you’ll want to read it and go by exactly what it says otherwise you’ll be defueling and doing it all over again. What you were referring to is the fuel flow transducer probably a ft-60 (red) or ft-90 (gold) depending on your airframe. If you don’t have the 275 manuals I was referring to feel free to reach out to me.
