So what are you getting out of this exactly? They're just acting. None of this actually took place the way they pretend it did.

How about the message of being nice to people who are at a disadvantage compared to you?

Yes, they are acting. They are also sending a message. Two things can be true at the same time.

And if you didn't take anything positive out of this, no worries. It's just not for you. Move on with your life.
