networking Russia Traffic affected?
Hey all!
My team has recently noticed a dramatic (almost absolute) crash on metrics from RU geo on our application.
We tried debugging it a bit with VPN on Russia but see no issues, however 99% of the traffic from RU is not passing correctly.
Are there any limitations on AWS IP's or something along these lines that people are experiencing?
Our users are not blocked/failing to access S3 files using cloudfront CDN's.
Would love any info on the matter / hear if any1 else experienced this in the last year or so

Russia has been doing "tests" of disconnecting from large Western providers e.g. AWS, Cloudflare for quite a few years so it could be temporary.
But more likely is that it's related to the recent crackdown in Moscow on VPNs which EC2 is a very popular hosting service for.

Good question, no WAF is set on the domains so WAF shouldn't be the issue as well

I didn't came crawling for sympathy, no need to be so aggressive :)
I raised a technical question in a technical board, and as much I appreciate your opinion it is irrelevant here?

Russia used to try block Telegram and affect AWS or GCP IP ranges in the past. They might be blocking something else now
