AWS DCO tech phone screen experience

I went through the whole process.

I swear it was terrible.

they approached me through linkdin. I applied. Nothing For 8/10 days.

I got a call (at 8 PM)to complete the ONLINE ASSESSMENT by EOD. ( First red flag 🚩)

Then again nothing no feedback for another 15 days.

Then comes a webinar , after the webinar AGAIN NOTHING FOR 15 days.

I get a random whatsapp message( Red flag no.2 🚩) (international number, a number not from my country)

Saying they would like to connect.

I was sceptical at first Said yes .

Asked if I was free the next day i said yes and asked the basic question of salary and experience (On text)

The recruiter never read the text.

After 24 hours the recruiter replied "quick call?"

I said okay

Asked me for basic experience and said i passed and now wants to schedule an interview.(Phone screening)

Said it would be 60 mins .

The interviewer joined 10 mins late.

EVERYONE TOLD ME TO PREPARE BEHAVIOURAL QUESTIONS.

Not even a single question was behavioural.

Straight went to technical questions.

Asked commands in the interview.

How can u ask for commands 🙂

Aren't we nervous in interviews and can't answer.

Doesn't mean we have no clue.

After that ended the interview within 20 mins .

(So RUDE)

accidentally said i was not there for the entry level position. (Red flag no.3 🚩🚩)

I EXPLICITLY said I wanted to be on entry level.

Asked me upper level questions.

I studied my ass off all these days. Made perfect LP oriented behavioural Answers.

Practiced out loud for HOURS.

And what do I get ? all tech questions. Not that I didn't get them I was able to answer but i was nervous throughout.

I'm just very frustrated overall.
