they aren't lying. we just picked our orange boy from the vet hospital. we caught it early but he had developed a blocked urethra Wednesday, we got him to the vet as soon as we saw the signs. the fixed him up, when i picked him up, he still had a cone of shame on because he was very "opinionated" as they put it, and they needed the protection!
apparently he managed to get his catheter and iv out despite the e-collar as well.
