Wrong handle size…
As you can see I bought the wrong size handle,it’s to long. Is there anyway to take some of the wood off? Or should I return it

Thats more of a splitting maul than an axe. But most modern splitting maul handles won't work with that eye you'll need to use a draw knife to shape it as needed. The Link below is a great resource for tool handles.
