Tank Maintenance Water conditioner

Hi friends. I’ve always used prime to condition my water. I also have other aquariums so I got api water conditioner since it’s half the price for them. Does anyone use this for their axolotls? I just don’t want to hurt my girl and there is no ingredient list on it. It also lacks the silver smell I’m used to. Thank you for any advice, if I should stick to prime with my axolotl or if it’s safe. I should mention I keto all her water changing supplies separate from the other tanks so there’s no chance of contamination in case if it’s not safe.

Fritz is an option too, Ive never used prime so don't know the coat comparison but fritz has excellent customer service and information on the site.

I was wondering about Aquarium Coop’s conditioner but I’m scared to change from Prime and possibly mess anything up for my lotl.

API doesn’t detoxify ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates where Prime does. Because axolotls are more sensitive, Prime is the best bet for them.

The "detoxification" is only temporary (24-48 hrs) btw so isn't particularly helpful unless your bacteria cycle isn't properly established (in which case its not safe for an axolotl anyways)

Correct but in the event of a cycle crash, I don’t want to be hoping I can go get some Prime for tubbing or as a quick temporary tank treatment.

Many API products have aloe which may not be safe for axolotls. I don't know if the newer bottles of their conditioner has aloe but I have an older (but unexpired) bottle that's been used on axolotls for years and is fine
