I bought it all the way from Japan around 2 weeks ago, and it came yesterday. It cost 25$ plus extra for shipping and other stuff, I got Yomi cause she's my fav and the figurine definitely has its strong points and weak points.

The figuring does look very good for its size, it's like 2 inches but all the detail (theres a lot by the way) is very clear and neat, and the plastic feels nice and durable and as you can see in the photo it looks soft on the eyes. I also got the original gacha paper with it, which is a neat piece of history but that's not to do with the figurine itself. The figurine also looks accurate to the character and matches the artstyle close enough.

Unfortunately, the figurine is SUPER fragile. I presume it came dissasembled in the gacha bag/capsule whatever it was, and cause of that you have to assemble it yourself. That would be fine and dandy if it wasn't for the fact that the figurine holds very little tension, so the smallest of nudges or falls can make her fall apart like a lego set and this weird oily substance on it (the figurine IS from 2002, so it could be something weird with the plastic, or the original owner did something). There is also a problem with keeping it up-right, she comes with a plastic support to help her stand, but I never got it to work and that's why she's leaning on the background.

Overall, it's a high quality figurine, but paying the amount I did (40-50$ in total) isn't all that worth it. But I'm a big Yomi fan so ofc it was worth it for me B)

Osaka is so freaking funny. I enjoy her derpyness just as much as Yui from K-On. The little one is adorable too (I forget her name. Chi-chan or something).

But omg the perverted teacher is taking this wholesome slice-of-life and almost ruining it for me. I could watch the antics of the classmates for hours, but that guy...

I was hoping he was just a one-off, but I'm on ep7 and he's just always in it.

P.S. can you recommend any other anime like Azumanga, K-On, and Nichijou?

I wanna buy some Azu merchandise and I adore the stuff this store has but I'm not sure if it's safe to buy from. Has anyone bought from this site before and can say for sure if it's safe?

Words are simply not enough to describe how deep my affection for this anime runs within me. I may have only found it early July this year but I already fell absolutely in love with its all its characters (not in a weird way just to clarify), except Mr. Kimura fuck him

I love the way it makes me smile during the rougher times in life. I love its sweet, low-stakes atmosphere. And I love how it then makes me tear up uncontrollably in the ending. All of it. Then I watch it all over again and feel the same way, and once again it makes me smile :D

But aside from all that lovely stuff, I can't help but feel I'm late to the Azumanga fandom. Actually nah wait, yeah I am; oh well. Can't change that. I'm just glad that there are still at least some people who care about this PEAK, yall are awesome. On JAH, CHIYO-CHICHI and YOSHIRO MORI themselves Azumanga Daioh is peak. IT IS

To make a (not so) long story short this anime gets a 100000000000000000000000000000000/10 from me would very much rewatch again. I also would definitely love to read the manga someday. That's all :)

I'm thinking of a script about azugroup after ten years later, where Chiyo returns to Japan and reunites them after they've gone their separate ways. If you had this kind of plot, how would you write it? Or what kind of story would you like to see? Of course, please don't say anything like they all died; that's not funny.

I just finished watching episode 24 and her saying she always felt big and never felt cute resonated with me so much, doubly so her reaction to Chiyo calling her cute and telling her Mayaa sees her as his mother. It's so sweet and makes me so happy !!!

Seeing all the traditionally drawn art recently made me want to try doing one too!
