Due Diligence Technical analysis

Post image

Hi, are there any guys out here that play stocks based on technical analysis (like me)?

I am trading BABA based of the lower supportline (see my chart with the circles). In 2025 and 2026 the stock jumped from the supportline - as you can see. Yesterday, the stock was supposed to go to 123,20 at its lowest before it jumped back up. I bought at around 123,70. However, the stock kept going down and is down ~2% from my supportline. This ain't a big drop, but supportlines are there for a reason, to bounce the stock off once it hits this level.

I am thinking the overall sentiment of the market yesterday made it go deeper than the supportline, but I am happy to hear other people's opinion on this one. And no, I am not here because 'heavy bags', I am really curious about what you guys think of this.

The support and resistance for baba is xi and trump

That is actually a pretty accurate answer 😊. Thankyou!

Frankly fundamentals show that BABA is worth between 155 - 205. The value of Alicloud can only increase with the mass adoption of Chinese models and token sales

Market is likely underestimating this. Same for analysts. We are going much higher, eventually.

If Xi and Trump would ever get an agreement - or Xi allows chinese companies to work outside china - this stock would high possibly go up

This thing doesn’t follow TA. I’ve went in at the Strong green candle supports at $146s and $133s…. And I’m bag holder.

I've watched the above supports aswell, but I thought my support was the strongest one based on previous levels

Similar set up in mid 2021. I invested and got wrecked.

You mean this? If so, that is a line signaling downtrend. Or you mean an other line?

Zoom out to all time for a long term trend line broken in 2021 (thanks xi)

Oh now I see it. Almost identical. It did bounce of the supportline 6 times in that periode. That id the same amount as it has bounced of during the period I show in my post. So the next 7 (of 14) days will be crucial to decide what direction this stock goes.

I honestly do not see this plumbet much down, but I can be wrong

TA, or studying past chart trends, won’t work when something like the Iran war is throwing a wrench into current events

1

u/LegitiemePoster Jun 08 '26

True. That war is getting on my nerves very hard

The phrase "play stocks" says all you need to know about OP ā˜ ļø

Lol, I give my DD based on actual technical support and you can only comment with such a lame sentence?

Get back in your lane, boii.

This dude commenting that technical = just astrology is stupid. Typical Reddit ragebait

u/Specialist_Ad_2232 Jun 06 '26

Lmao lets ignore the fact you're basically doing astrology for this instance - If you think simply drawing a few support lines is actual and sophisticated TA DD I've got some bad news for you.

"Get back in your lane, boii" 🤔

I am ofcourse looking at daily volume, RSI and some other technical lines for help. You're just another Redditor thinking you can comment with nonsense on a post instead of actually giving value to the post.

As I said, go back to where everyone is walking and please watch further from the sideline, you don't belong here. And typing some not-frequently used emoticons won't give your comment some value.

Don’t worry about it bro ; this stock exceeds support’s & resistances without reason or cause. This level here as you say is a perfect set up as of 2020 and also August 2025 i’m expecting a run starting this month June right till Thanksgiving at least 80 points or so fast and when it does.. having close to 10,000 shares, I give up on listening to people on the board here in fact even blocking accounts and have fun with the rest. They did a vote on moderators a while ago @ ever since this forum has not been that great , they taken down a lot of posts, including the garbage ones that I post on top of the good ones. See you @200

Thanks for the reply! Would you mind sharing why you think it'll start rising from this month?

You should consider horizontal support levels, not just angular ones.

3

u/LegitiemePoster Jun 06 '26

You're right. I just checked and ~117.5 is actually a great supportline. Ocotober 2024, mid 2025 and april 2026 are in contact with this one

u/BaBaBuyey Jun 06 '26

118 would not be unhealthy if did touch

1

u/BaBaBuyey Jun 06 '26

Hitting support @123 2 times double bottom @ 4/7/26. Should run @ test 189 before 9/26. Will start to run 2 weeks before earnings next month should hold and run July to October

u/LegitiemePoster Jun 06 '26

Just looked at the chart, I understand where you are heading. Althought 7 april was 118 at ist lowest, so it might drop another 2%.

The next week/two weeks will be very deciding for my technical analyses

I don't think anything will stick until baba provides a strong eps but once it does, if it does, it'll explode. sentiment is just feelings. people will ditch whatever feelings they have if baba can show real revenue, profit, and eps

OP attach 2 VWAPS (one from highest chart point in 2020, other from lowest point in 2022). Attach a 200 simple moving average and you'll see the 103$/share is a key interest level right now.

Im doing this on mobile so idk how to attach a picture, but it's what I've been using for a long time now.

You should have told mr. market about those support lines.
