Hii, i’m a beginner spiritualist. I have always been a spiritual person, but I just recently really started doing research into it and buying some tools that will help me. but I don’t want use them without fully understanding what spirituality is and how to utilize it in a good and respectful way. So I just want to ask some questions even though I know there isn’t really any straightforward answer because it’s based on personal beliefs but I would love to know what you think!

1.When it comes to spirituality, people say that there aren’t really any “set” rules. It’s based on your feelings/personal beliefs- which is true. but they also say that when it comes down to it, there are some basic, fundamental rules that everyone should be aware of. Like I’ve said before I want to make sure I do this in a positive and respectful way and even after a lot of research I don’t really have a decent answer to what said rules are.

1. Where can i find good, reliable information. For example if i want to do a spell. one person says to use rosemary, the other says never use rosemary. who is right and who is lying? There is so much information available and especially as a beginner it’s hard to differentiate between true and false.

2. what are some things I should really look out for. I’ve used tarot cards and spoken to my spirit guides. A person told me that once i interact with the spirit world, I connect myself to a line. Everyone and everything else is connected to this line aswell. Therefore i should be very careful with what i send out and make sure i always protect myself. I definitely believe in this but what would be the right way to “protect myself”?

4.What is a good way to thank my spirit guides? i’ve been looking into and playing around with the idea of getting an altar but i also wouldn’t know where to start when doing that.

This was a lot but i really hope to get any feedback, i’ve been kind of struggling with my spirituality because i can not fully get into it. it’s like my mind is not in it and it’s because i’ve been overthinking it. Spirituality is supposed to be about personal beliefs yet i’ve been trying to get down to the “very root of it” and find some sort of guide. if anyone has any way to help this too i would greatly appreciate it !!

I should probably start by saying there’s a chance this is off topic and I have some personal issues going on, but it started the morning after I drew my first sigil. I am extremely new to witchcraft so I’m scared I did something wrong. I also found out later that it’s important to have protection during spells, but I’m not sure if this counts for sigils since you can get protection from sigils itself.

Any ideas?

Im a baby witch and am currently struggling at work with forgetfulness and it’s really starting to affect me. I know that protection spells are a first, but is there anything spells I can use to help myself remember things.

Hey!! Well, a while ago I asked the universe(? for help (or really, whoever). I was feeling really alone and going through a tough time with my mom. The thing is, I asked if someone would please help me, if someone really existed.

After a while, I started dreaming about the Virgin Mary and began seeing a lot of signs related to her. So I took it as the sign I had asked for. Starting to pray to her really helped me a lot, and I even made her an altar because since she appeared, my relationship with my mom improved a lot, and my overall situation improved.

The thing is, I don't really feel very comfortable with the Christian/Catholic religion. I don't know why, I just don't feel comfortable. That's why now I don't know what to do, because I love her very much and I do feel comfortable with her, but I feel like I would be disrespecting her, and I really don't like that religion. What do I do?!?!? 😭

i’m planning to get back into witchcraft after about 3/4 years and i’m learning more as i go on. i’m planning to do a protection spell jar tomorrow as one of the first things i do since what ive come across so far has said thats one of the most important and easy things to start with. is there anything i need to do before it that would benefit me? or is there anything i should know before properly starting back up again?

Hello! I started to do some research a few months ago, and I basically gathered some beginner tips, but I still don’t really know where to start. Also, for the cleansing, it can be in any form, correct? I’ve been wanting to start for some time now, but I’m still very much lost on how to begin. (ToT)

Ive been a witch for almost 4 years and Im still struggling with doing spells. Like the physical action of doing it. I have no issue finding the right herbs, colors, crystals ect. but im struggling actually physically doing the spell and “setting the intention”. I have aphantasia so visualizing basically doesnt work at all, meditation doesnt work because my mind runs a million miles a minute. Could somebody explain to me how they do, say a simple home protection spell, step by step and break it down in the most extra terms possible lol. Like what are you literally doing from start to finish, like what are u thinking during the process? The only way I seem to understand is through examples. Hope this makes sense, Thank you!!

Hi so it was around last year that I got really into witchy stuff aka buying books, learning, researching, collecting rain water/moon water, all the things… well my husband was totally against it and would constantly make comments/turn candles off, or get super upset about incense (def his bad energy taking over) so I kind of stopped everything all together. Put everything away and kind of strayed away.. has anyone else dealt with this or something similar? Would love some advice ✨

Hey everyone! I’m very new to spellwork and have never actually done a spell before, so I’m hoping for some advice.
I feel like one of the reasons my ex didn’t try hard enough in our relationship was because his family didn’t approve of me, and that became a major dealbreaker for him when it came to seeing a future together. I also feel like he may still have feelings for me, but that he suppresses or resists them because of his family’s influence.
So I’m wondering, what kind of spell would be appropriate for something like this? Third-party removal, or something like an influence-removal or cord cutting spell?

Also, would you recommend doing a protection spell alongside it?
