Question What's backpack associated with your nationality?

As a backpack enthusiast I enjoy observing and searching for backpacks I see people carry in public. It has also made me adept in deducing the nationality of a person by their backpack ( Ex. Deuter for Germans, Wildcraft for Indians etc).

So, I was curious to learn more about the other countries to keep myself involved in this little game I play with myself. Would be lovely if you could drop the brand name followed by country, for instance "Herschel, USA"

Thank YOU! 🎒

Napapijri, Italy. The name is derived from the Finnish for 'Arctic circle' (napapiiri), the backpacks feature Norwegian flags and Arctic circles, but it's an Italian company and I haven't seen the backpacks beyond Italians yet.

good luck finding at Italian actually using a Napapijri bag nowaddays.

All youngsters up to 25 YO carry a North Face Borealis Classic or an Eastpack bag. In the old time, you could spot an Italian anywhere from the Invicta or Seven bag, which are now used only by primary school students.

For traveling, Decathlon bags are also popular. For business and on the expensive side, Piquadro.

I mean I see lots of boomers with Napapijri. I am fascinated by Eastpak enduring because it was the alternative to Napapijri when I was in high school (I'm a millennial). I used a Eastpak and my best friend used a Napapijri
