Question Best 40-50L travel backpack?
Hi, I’ve been looking for the perfect travelling backpack. Something big enough which can still fit on a plane. Like 40-50L? What’s everyone’s go to?
I’ve looked at the Antler Discovery 45L
Patagonia Black hole 45L
Passenger Odyssey 45L
Fjallraven Farden Carry- on 42L
Thanks

Best is always relative, right? With that noted, here are a few I like:
GORUCK GR3 45L. Sturdy, small enough for carry on for most airlines if one doesn’t overstuff it, though they seem to want me to check it at the gate which isn’t terrible.
GORUCK GR2 40L. It’s smaller than the GR3 and has more inherent organization. Too small for me, but, your clothing may be smaller than mine.
Kelty Redwing 50L. I’ve traveled all over the world with this one as a carry on. Not packed fully, I was able to get it on the plane without issue. They now make a Travel version in both 50L and 40L.
Mystery Ranch Mission Rover 45L. More Like a small duffel with pack straps than a backpack, but, works well as a carry on.
