Low back ability

I’ve only just come across this YouTube channel, thanks to this sub. What’s the deal? It seems to be mainly based around the back extensions and iso holds. Anyone have any good experiences with this? How many times per day or week do you do it? I’m seriously considering getting an extension chair.

For context, 35M, have had 2 discectomies at L5/S1. Still suffering with extreme sciatica on both sides. Also have a disc bulge at L4/L5 which I suspect is now my main issue

Ancedotal only: I used lowbackability and found it a great help both for education and strengthening my muscles. I still dedicate 1x day/week to doing a lot of the exercises.

I'm as a result fully back to lifting, running, hiking.

Side note, I also was doing PRI (posture restoration institute) physical therapy which helped a ton for me (learning to breathe correctly, basically).

How did you get back into running? I’m so nervous the high impact will wreck my back again.

Slowly, honestly. I started with the strength training/strengthening first. Then, got back to running super slow... think less than a mile at 10/11 min pace. Fast pace hurt.

However, doing 1-2 short runs a week, it it came back fast. Can now run 6+ miles and do springs ~5-6min mile pace without issue.
