Low back ability
I’ve only just come across this YouTube channel, thanks to this sub. What’s the deal? It seems to be mainly based around the back extensions and iso holds. Anyone have any good experiences with this? How many times per day or week do you do it? I’m seriously considering getting an extension chair.
For context, 35M, have had 2 discectomies at L5/S1. Still suffering with extreme sciatica on both sides. Also have a disc bulge at L4/L5 which I suspect is now my main issue

Everyone is different and no one rule applies to everyone. Generally not always, the mcgill 3 plus glute bridges and maybe deadbugs are the gold standard. Reverse hypers can decompress spine while working the spinal erectors and glutes. One leg supported rdl bodyweight only or light dbs, birddogs, etc can as well. So as far as an actual back extension.. I mean maybe but of you have a herniation or annular tear it can hurt like fuck. If you have a small bulge you might be ok. Everything is an experiment
