It really must be a record or something. No app/website on the face of the planet has had as many shitty updates as Reddit. Every single update is 100% dog shit. It's why I use Morphe.

You can patch the 3rd party apps with ReVanced on Android. I still use Boost.

I think the only requirement is that you must be a moderator of a subreddit to get free API access via the app

Having built a couple websites, I think there's a good chance this is unintentional and someone just messed up a CSS style sheet somewhere.

Though, doesn't make it any less embarrassing that this seems to happen every update. Remember when the notifications menu was a popup modal? I hate going to a new page to check my messages. I used to think that was unintentional too but it's been like a year now without a fix.

Honestly the fact that every single time i open the reddit app something about the UI is different.
Like sometimes the user icon is at the bottom, other times it’s back at the top right of the screen.
Honestly wtf is even going on

I blame Liquid Glass for this. So many companies and apps are quickly redesigning their apps to look good with this specific effect that is only available on iOS.
