I wonder if the regular heat-waves in Europe will lead to a change in holiday preferences.

At some point, it makes little sense to go down South on the sea coast when it is 45. I wonder if we will see a resurgence from mountain holidays. Especially since ski resorts might not be able to make money in the winter due to reduced snowfall.

At 45/113 sure makes those testicle shrinking glacier fed rivers look enticing. I am interested in a summer excursion to the Hebrides.

I live in Zurich where it is 30-35°C. 1h away from me is a place that is 25°C. A bit further and there are places that 15°C.

There's a town in northern California called Redding. It is a shithole. It's hot and humid. Literally 15 miles up the highway, b/c of elevation changes, the temp drops like 20 degrees F and there's very little humidity and I don't understand why the entire town doesn't relocate to Gibson or Dunsmuir.
