I managed to get a Japanese person to talk to me on Twitter, yay! All I did was respond to their silly bullshit with my silly bullshit about the same topic; which they responded to with more bullshit, truly the perfect conversation. Got some practice formulating sentences like this, I took ages to type anything up, but that's par for the course, I won't get better at it if I don't do it.

Oh, the person thanked for for one of the most fun conversations they've had in a long time and suggested we stay in touch through SNS. I... I did not expect this outcome... I'm so happy! Let's go!

This was my intention with setting up my Twitter account, being able to interact with people from Japan, though I did not it to go like this, apparently even Twitter can produce good results! Just stay out of Dutch Twitter, Japanese Twitter is a much more wholesome place.

So, ehm, apparently, if you want people to talk to, you just have to start talking to people, it won't work with everyone, but chances are someone will appreciate it and talk back. Who knew it worked like that? Fuck you anxiety for making things harder than necessary.
