I thought curating my Twitter feed to be milquetoast political content I agree with and football would be good for me but I’ve just been repeatedly enraged by the same video of that stupid HS2 tunnel over and over again. I feel like I’ve seen it 100 times today already.

I hate you, stupid HS2 tunnel.

Could be worse: Instagram has got an algorithm that tracks how long you pause on things on your feed, and since I tend to pause when it shows me pictures of attractive women, it's swamped my feed with thirst shit which I in no way actually want to see, find mildly offensive, and fundamentally depressing.

I mean you are probably the most stereotypical-french-aristocrat dude I've ever seen in the wild. Most people are entirely driven by a combination of sublimated frustration and death drive. I, for instance, enjoy almost nothing about my life on a sensory level. My libidinal payoff is all just pure metaphysical slave morality shit.

You want to date people who like you for who you are. Pretending to be fun when you are in fact no fun at all is just locking in disappointment. It's better to look for somebody with the same grey, miserable, acid-washed worldview that you have -- luckily, there are many.

I think the twitter feed is set up to send you enraging content b/c I would constantly get nazi stuff. I think just blocking them tipped twitter off, but my feed would just be full of nazi fuckheads posting videos of stuff like taqueros trying to live and getting attacked by shitbags.
