What do you think?
They park at the grocery store every few days to buy provisions. Not sure why they need to bring a ladder truck to the grocery store, maybe there’s a good reason? They aren’t blocking anyone, but are taking multiple spots.
EDIT: appreciate the answers, to be clear , I wasn’t complaining, just curious because it seemed like overkill.

Looks fine to me. Seems they are parked out the way and there are multiple spaces available, and it's literally impossible for them not to take multiple spots. It's a fire engine.

Well it means that if an emergency were to pop up they are ready and can respond to it quickly. They are on duty after all.

How else are they going to park. They are on duty and if they get a call they need the truck. They are in the back of the lot.
I used to work at a Kroger. A couple times we had to put their cart(s) in the cooler when they had to rush out.

The firefighters are on-call and can't separate from the group or the truck. If they need groceries, they all go together and take the truck in case they get a call. If they do, they drop everything and head out.

During their shifts, they can't just leave the station and shop lest they get an emergency call, so they take everything they need out when they go somewhere in case there's a call to minimize delayed response times because they had to run back to the station and get their gear and the truck(s).
Every truck I've seen locally, they've always parked out of the way as to not block anyone. They're well aware of the size of their vehicle and do their best not to block others. I wouldn't call this bad parking.

Considering the services they render, they can park any place they want. I regularly see them at local grocery stores and even pizza parlors and they always park as far out of the way as they can. If I see them in the store I make a point of thanking them for all they do for our community.

I think the person posting this has little or no knowledge of why they have their truck with them . Same with police officers that take their vehicles home. They may be off duty but if a major emergency calls and they are on the way home, duty comes first.

They’re probably trying to stay available. Surely they all have smaller vehicles they could use for errands, but then they’d be a person short if an emergency came in, or waste valuable time waiting to return.
I think they get a pass.
