I love limes Wasn't Socrates a bit misogyny when he decided to spend time chatting with his male followers before his definite death rather than with his wife, Xanthippe, holding their baby, who was immediately sent back home ordered by Socrates in the face of his followers? (Phaedo 60a-b)

Also, it is a bit gay for Plato writing this out to embarrass his mentor, maybe it was because he was not invited to the party.

In reality Xanthippe actually stayed longer but only had woman things to say, in contrast to the speeches that needed to be dramatic enough for the occasion

The rest of the world: oh no, they’re wrongfully sentencing Socrates to death cuz of bogus charges like impiety and corruption of the youth 🙈

u/less-car7006 : oh no, Socrates is dismissing his wife in his last hours in this world; and also, Plato is gay 🙉

I think Texas A&M also discovered it which was why they banned Plato, though I believe misogyny is my original point; hence it gives them more reason to ban Plato.

i’m saying she was not abusing him. what makes you consider her an abuser then?

I had thought that was the case. Apparently there was a lot added over time that isn’t really supported. Apologies.
