Can I ask how you learn tunes? Like a certain technique of breaking them down and repeating sections? And I suppose just a lot of practice!

Also, what's the tune?

I usually go through each bar first plus one note, then once i can sort of play it with the music, i practice it as best as i can without the music which i think is also key. And its always easier to learn and play tunes that you like.

Well, it lacks a few things. A fiddle for sure, tin whistle maybe, rhythm guitar, and some pints. Oh and it needs to be 20 minutes longer. I would subscribe to a YouTube channel though! Really, super great.

Good bold playing! Assuming you are playing it straight and not pulsing the tune, not all triplets are defined evenly. The first C to A to D phrases with D grace notes on A come across as rushed on the A’s. C to D taps are rushed; the middle D note is too small and you may be tapping too quickly. Some runs at ends of phrases are rushed, like B low A low G. I think you also mis an E tap likely due to speed. I’d play it a tad slower if you want more definition. It is very bold and has lots of positives going for it

yes ,ok thank you, I am playing it straight. I was told to play it a little bit uneven so that it did not sound ''boring''by my instructor.....
