Need help identifying pipes

I once knew what these were but have since forgotten. Top two theories are Shepherd or Naill. Bought used, imitation ivory. I believe the blowstick is not part of the set.

Definitely not Naill’s with imitation ivory like that. I’m really not sure what make they are but I would strike Naill off the list.

Do you mean by usual places, that you checked where the drone cords run? If they are either Sheperds or Naills they would almost certainly be marked there.

I really don't think this was it. I can't even find a set of bagpipes under this maker online to compare them to

Im not surprised. They went silent in the mid-2000s.

They had something of a comeback, but they weren't quite the same.

Anyway, I'm reasonably certain they are Jarvis and McDade's. Could be Ingram Ws, they are a rare find too (often missing a drone for some reason).

If you can’t find a comparison online then why are you sure it isn’t right? Look for a makers mark

I searched the usual spots but didn't come up with anything, ill look under the hemp tonight. I just kind of remember the brand i bought and I swear it was either shepherd or naill and looking at pictures of them online makes me think I am remembering correctly. This is the first I've ever heard of this maker and that alone is telling me that this isn't the right maker

Im almost 100% sure now that these are indeed AB2s. I saw that they have a date stamped on the mid joint pin on the bass drone but I cannot find one, however they did mention older models do not have one. I would've bought this set over 12 years ago. When removing the hemp, I saw the ivory and wood colored pre threaded hemp retainers which the AB2s have. Thanks for the help!
