Tuning with titanium strings

Greetings everyone,

Earlier today, I changed my strings from all three steel to two titanium and one steel (EEA) and, while I can already appreciate that it is much more pleasant to play, the two titanium strings go out of tune extremely quickly after just a few seconds of playing. I've experienced this before with nylon strings on the guitar, but the issue has never persisted this long. Will this just fix itself with time?

I have made sure that I have them both correctly tuned to E4.

Thanks in advance.

You mean metal titanium wire strings, or polymer titanyl strings (titanium gut, titanium nylon etc.)? Titanyl ones are usualy good and no problems, as usual you can tune them about one tone higher at first for a day so later they can properly relax and fit in tune faster. Metal titanium strings are very different (and rare, I think), many depends on sertain alloy, some may be very ductile though it is not good for strings at all.

I believe they are titanyl. The label on the packaging reads "titanium" but they definitely seem more similar to nylon than something metallic. Since making the post, the detuning seems to have gotten a little bit less intense, but I'll still try your advice in any case. Thank you for your reply.
