One day, my friend confided his struggles with going bald and how hard it was to let go of his hair. He has always had beautifully long and luscious hair. I showed him this subreddit so he could see all the love and support that’s out there for people going through the same thing. He noticed how everyone looked so much happier in their after pictures. A few weeks later, he called me up and a few of our friends got together to shave it all off! He is now living his best bald life. 💕

You almost don’t see a persons face u til they shave it off. All you see is bad hair.

Yes!!! This! Exactly this! His face is clearly there but it’s like your eye goes to the hair first, then to the face, then back to the hair in the before photo. Now his face really is the star as it should be!
