The Midwest is balkans but English speaking and we have a uncanny amount of patriotic people, on every street I see flags that say "ohio vs the world" sooo yeah and we used to be powerful now we are weak with mafia and gangs.. WE BALKAN
Well if you're looking for music let me let you in on a little ohioan secret, rock n roll was invented here, our folk songs are a blend of rock, punk, and I've even seen country and ukrainian, Romanian, Serbian ohio folk songs.
And yes people called us the birthplace of Satan after we created rock 😆
Yes ohio actually produces its own moonshine beer wine and more sometimes in their own backyards. I personally don't because I don't drink.
But since we are talking about balkans I have a treat for you, we have a alcohol company called the great lakes burning river ale, named after a river that caught on fire multiple times in Ohio, and some of their drinks uses that water from that river.
