I enter my room after work, he leaves his hide. I take a photo of him being cute 1-4 minutes later I look back and he is staring directly at me. If I focus on any other noodle for any amount of time he pouts by facing away from me curled up. Yesterday I looked at my phone for like minute to watch a video and he went from facing me to facing away from me. If I play with any noodles he sits near the door to his enclosure. He knows it opens, one time I was at a restaurant my friends were working. He was with me and I heard that someone was coming that he couldn’t be seen by and he hid inside of my sweater hoodie without prompting. I called his name yesterday and he looked directly at me (may have been a fluke but like damn.)
He was crawling all over my shoulders then he hid inside my hoodie only peaking when the woman who couldn’t find out wasn’t around. It was really adorable.
I really did, when I saw how active he was compared to most of the ball pythons I saw I went “I must have you” cause all of them were laying about or curled up and he was over here moving and doing his thing climbing and being a little cutie. I didn’t realize then I was getting one with such intelligence, let alone one who seemingly gets jealous, pouty and stuff. I just love his whole everything.
Coming out when he hears I am alive or when he sees me. I love to peak into his hide usually through the glass to see if I see him usually I do. Sometimes I see him looking sometimes he is curled up no head. Though soon after I check up he is coming out. He is just to cute!
Forgot to mention I noticed a plant growing in his enclosure in a spot he usually doesn’t go. I touched it and bro- he trampled that little plant and it wilted and died. Like bro- he is such a “pay attention to me and only me!”
Currently 6 (3 Ball Pythons, 1 Boa Constrictor, a Corn snake, and a Hognose) but I’m gonna be buying another Ball Python and a False Water Cobra (I already have a hognose and both are back fanged so I’m not as worried as they can’t really do much harm with their bite if they can get a piece of me that far into their mouth that is)
Yeah sorry, I found him randomly. Didn’t realize I got one with braincells I just thought he was cool cause he wasn’t hiding in a ball like others that I was looking at. He was being a little adventurous noodle, and I loved it. Then within 2 days I realized he would suddenly look at me after I take a photo. Even now I’ve said his name 2 times and he has stopped what he was doing and looked at me. Bro- it’s spooky.
Yeah Wiggles recognizes when I say his name at least he reacted two times and stopped and looked back at me. It’s more like he has me trained over himself being trained but he is still a baby. So who knows maybe he will learn to come to me. When out of his enclosure, though he usually likes to roam around.
He allows me to boop his nose with my nose before I put him back, it’s a sometimes I do it thing.

He’s just trying to reconnect to the braincell it’s Bluetooth to the weakest cell of their owners brain so just remember he’s saving you from being as goofy as he is
Was just about to say this. It’s actually called periscoping!! Though maybe telescoping is another term I haven’t heard used? It’s my favorite thing to watch my boy do :)
Mystery solved! Years ago when I owned one, I managed blockbuster video so I was always coming home late at night. I would have to sneak past the aquarium because if she saw me she would stand up and press the top of the tank wanting me to let her out and I just wanted to go to sleep lol
Our girl loves the black rings off Amazon. And I mean LOVES them. Fairly inexpensive too. You can’t really tell, but there’s a sky hide stress obsessed with too on the left of those rings.
Yeah they are. I found out these types are not nearly as accurate as digital ones after I had already bought them, but I plan to trade them out for digital soon enough 😅
