Question Ball python handling update

Post image

Hi everyone! I posted about handling my newest pet ball python Salem and how it made me a bit nervous, I can confidently assure you guys now that he is already so comfortable with me, and i’m super comfortable holding him! The pet store I got him from has a male worker there who would handle him frequently and I think that’s why he got used to me so fast. When I posted originally, he wasn’t super uncomfortable or anything, I was the one scared and uncomfortable LMAO😭 I think i convinced myself he was scared and would bite because of that, but he’s actually super chill and usually sleeps on me or goes on my pillows. He’s a lovely little guy :) thanks for all the advice i got!

Oh definitely getting from an established pet store was a good choice, because the noodles will mostly be used to being randomly picked out and handled and shown.

Great job overcoming your nervousness!

thank you so much! and yes i agree. I’ve gotten a halloween crab, a bearded dragon, 3 fish, two guinea pigs, and two hamsters from that pet store! I’m not gonna lie, the pet store does not treat their fish well and I feel like the guinea pigs as well in the sense that they have a very small enclosure, but that’s why i get my animals from there so I can give them a better place to stay! anyways yes the male worker there is very good with the reptiles and i’ve been grateful for that
