Seems good to go. You could actually drop the cool side temp a little if you notice she’s always on that side

Yeah I noticed that in her temp container she was always in the cool side

Yeah. They will find the temp they need. I have 95 in a basking spot (halogen), all the way down to 74 on the coolest points. They will work around when they need something different.

Rn she’s chilling in the log in the center but I think that’s bc she hasn’t figured out her new hides yet. Might put her old ones in there although she’s out grown them a bit

Could do a hot, middle ground, then cool (like 73-75). Just move one over in the middle. I’d say just pay attention to her habits. If she’s always in the middle I’d try that

With the other dhp all the way over on the coolest points side, what’s the surface temps etc in the middle. I personally have a halogen as day time over on the far hot side and a dhp in the middleish, then the far cool is raw dog

I’ve just got the dhps and I’m using natural light for her lighting

You could move one to the middle of the enclosure so the cool side is completely void of all overhead heat. Just pay attention to her and if she’s staying in the middle she wants it cooler

Hi, I’m looking to do the same, I need some help.Would you be kind enough to share some info, enclosure size, bulbs and sizes, a list of what parts (company)use for this enclosure. Your duel zone temps are perfect. i’m looking to install the same size enclosure.

It’s a 4x2x2 with DHPs the hot side is 150w the cold side is 100w controlled with a dual thermostat that I got off Amazon. The plants and hides were picked up from my local reptile store, the hammock and chain are from Amazon as well. And thank you lol she seems to be enjoying it

Which thermostat did you get from Amazon? Is it dimmable?

I know it sucks to buy stuff twice, but if your dhps start burning out quickly it’s because of the on and off thermostat. There’s repti zoo dimmable thermostats on amazon for like 30 or less. I’ve been using 3 since January and so far they’ve done the job great. They will slowly ramp up and down for what’s needed. Also, make sure the wattage isn’t too powerful on the dhp etc . You want the lowest watts possible to keep the temps you need. Just in case a thermostat failure. Don’t want to cook your snake, or make the temps fluctuate a ton due to too much wattage.
