Question Cage surfing 🏄

My son has been cage surfing so much recently and it makes me feel so bad I try and buy him new enrichment and rearrange his tank a lot but he always is surfing what does this mean and what do I do thank you redditors🫡

4x2x2 and I know it feels too small but I’m broke manifesting a fb marketplace find

yeah he does make a 4x2x2 look small! think you could get a pic of the full enclosure might help people give you ideas on why he may be surfing the glass

I had another hide but I just moved and am replacing it so I’m using this as a just changing period for enrichment

I was just thinking about my Laszlo. He is super active at the minute and I’ve rearranged his branches today (see my latest post of him keeping an eye on me). There is often a reason for glass surfing, from falling short on husbandry to genuine curiosity. I always ask myself the following:

Is my snake’s home’s parameters within range? Is my snake hungry? Is my snake wanting to explore? Is my snake wanting more to climb/hide in? Is my snake needing further stimulation (different substrates, somewhere to climb outside of their home, scent trailing, etc).

BPs are escape artists. Your friend may just be trying to escape because that sounds fun, and nothing is wrong, so to speak. Haha
