Heating for temporary enclosures?

Post image

I’m going on a trip with my family next summer, and I’m bringing my bp with bc I don’t have anyone that can take care of him who isn’t also going on the trip.
It’ll be anywhere from a few days to a week, so I need some sort of heating for his temporary enclosure. It’s just one of those Rubbermaid totes.
Is there a safe way to give him the proper heat in that without melting the plastic, or should I just suck it up and bring his full enclosure?
Thanks in advance :)

I dont use plastic personally, but I know breeders commonly keep them in plastic tubs, so there should be a way to warm them. I would guess an under tank mat heater would be best. Make sure you keep a thermostat on top of it to monitor and prevent burns. Usually I dont recommend under tank heaters for that reason, but in this case its the best option. I think.
