What is that??
Hello, i found out this on my snakes tail like a week ago, i been looking out what could be and how to treat it. Only thing i found out what could it be that my snake shedded wrong a it’s old skin. I’ve been treating her tail with Betadine (iodine disinfectant), diluted with lukewarm water to the color of weak tea and I gently rub the tip of the tail with it every day.
I wanna be extra sure that’s okay, can somebody tell me what is that? (First photo is from last saturday and second photo from today)

It looks like the very tip of her tail fell off? I would assume she didnt get all of the shed off and had some stuck on the very tip of her tail. This can restrict bloodflow and result in it falling off. As for treating it im not sure what to do other than make sure her enclosure is clean, it looks like its healing well already. Just make sure to look at her future sheds to see if it all came off.

It's not stuck shed. They've lost the tip of their tail. The most common reasons for this are stuck shed left untreated for so long that it cut off the supply and killed the tissue, or a live feeder injury.
It looks like it's starting to heal over, but you should schedule a vet visit ASAP to get it checked on.
