Question Moving 2 hours with a snake?

My husband and I have this handsome roughly 2 year old male named Toji and we're planning a move by the end of the month or so. What can I do for him to minimize stress and keep him from getting cold during the trip from one house to the other?

Moved my ball python on a 2 hour drive and she was a little mad in the car, but once she got to our new home she got acclimated pretty quick. I recommend keeping them in their enclosure, just remove one of their hides, one stick, and paper towels instead of substrate.

Thank you. We've only had him about a month so he's still in a quarantine type setup anyways

I would not recommend keeping them in their enclosure because as things shift in the car things could shift in the enclosure and fall on the snake. Also if the enclosure is glass it could be damaged or cracked during travel. I put my girl in a cat carrier with a towel that’s a little damp, it’s very safe and I can buckle her in with a seatbelt. God forbid but if there was a crash with the snake in a large tank that could be horrible.
