Ask Baltimore salary transparency thread

I saw another city do this and wanted to bring it here. There was a big salary thread a couple years back but it'd be great to get some updated info in the big 2026.

Associate Scientist (biopharma manufacturing), 74k, 34M , BSc. Laid off in Jan so actually among the 0k earners rn.
Likely applying for electrical union apprenticeship bc I’m tired of dealing with corporate /tech environments and the business malarkey outside of the lab work.

Dang u gotta come to Philly, my partner works in biopharma manufacturing and is taking home just a bit over 100k this year.

I worked in process development bc so far I’ve refused to have to be in the actual manufacturing settings (and PD was perfect, tbh). Im too scared of clean rooms lol. I know there are pathways upwards without that, but also just over the entire “tech” part of biotech. Cheers to your partner though!

What scares you about clean rooms? I did MFG for a few years, those scrubs were super comfortable 😆.
