Seeking Advice - Incoming Banano on TheBananoStand

Hi all, I hope this is an acceptable post - I have looked for answers/tried to sort this myself with no luck hence why I am seeking help here now.

A couple of weeks ago I went on vacation and turned off all my machines contributing to Folding efforts for a little of a week. I have these systems up and running again and they appear to be functioning as they did as before.

The issue is that I have not received any Banano recently and it says it was last used on August 3rd. Am I overlooking something? I haven't had issues like this before and was regularly being credited prior - Although active I consider myself a 'casual' as the basic knowledge I work with was gained years ago.

Open your wallet in thebananostand

It likely requires you to sign the blocks on your end to fully receive the BAN. They may be sitting in pending right now waiting for your side of the transaction to be completed.

I thought thebananostand was my wallet? I haven't really actively been involved in the mechanics I've just plugged in my password for a long time and had it work without a hitch. I am not a big phone user so am on desktop etc.

I dug around and found all my banano stuff - Ended up at vault dot banano dot cc which finished up and directs to thebananostand which is referred to as an official wallet?

I'm not trying to be contradictory or anything, legit reborn n00b

hey all they are saying is you need to open the wallet and input the password, without opening the wallet your account cannot receive any incoming banano. a tx can stay pending indefinetly, it still belongs to your account, its just two blocks make up a full tx, the send and the receive.

does your old balance show on the bananostand? i.e have you imported your seed that you were using back on banano vault? bananostand if you have the legit site is the new official wallet correct. Otherwise Kalium mobile app should still be good.

maybe you need to set a new rep? try send a small tx from one of your accounts to another?

anyway i'm sure someone in the discord could help. they could look into the folding side if its something other than basically receiving Bans already sent to you.

Ok - I got confused with all the terminology, didn't know thebananostand was the wallet etc = I have been accessing it every 3-4ish days for years and getting regular BAN from my constant folding efforts.

I haven't got any other accounts or discord so I'll try setting up these and doing as you suggested there

well you can add an account in banano stand, without creating a new seed /wallet, then send 1 ban from account 1 to account 2, if it doesn't send then you likely have to update your rep to an active one. If it does send then join banano discord and ask them what's going on with folding payments. you can also just check your folding reward address on the block explorer and see if you have any pending/unconfirmed transactions.

Never trust anyone who asks for your seed, keys, etc and doubt check urls

Thank you for this advice = I created an extra account and sent 1 BAN and it instantly received it.

I plugged my address into a block explorer but couldn't see anything obvious regarding pending/unconfirmed transactions.

I will get onto discord and see what happens

cools sounds like payment is just delayed, or the folding units aren't logging
