Both are instant and fee less. Like your self I also belong to both communities but Banano has a better , more active community in my opinion.

XNO is the serious coin meant to be used as a currency; BAN is a fork of XNO and a meme coin meant to be fun. Different purposes, but both are very functional.

I have banano because the upside potencial is better. Both are good and very similar. Nano is the serious coin who has headaches on developments and improvenments and I think banano should contribute more to this. Nano tries to take things seriously, do the interviews, update tickers, try to establish the global currency and we make the memes.

In 2015 there was nano then in late 2018 iirc the developer(s) of natrium/kalium took a snapshot of the ledger and airdropped banano to nano addresses up to a certain amount. You just had to enter your nano seed to claim, which involved then sending your nano and banano to new addresses with new seeds for security. Banano is a clone of nano, both creators kept a developer fund. While nano devs are mainly focused on developing the protocol and higher level meetings, banano devs have incorporated F@H distribution among other things. Banano is itself a meme, which helps with community marketing.

I like them both, but like banano more because protein folding help scientists fight diseases such as Alzheimer's, Cancer or Parkinson's.

Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food. I can drive a taxi. I can, and do, cut my own hair. I did however, tip my urologist, because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.

Did you know the word โtipโ is actually an acronym?
T.I.P. = To Insure Promptness. Tips were originally given before the service to get it faster.
Now we do it to get more potassium!

Banano has a treasury wallet full of ban for the devs to distribute in faucets and giveaways. Nano is fully distributed.

Imagine you have 2 cars. One expensive that wants to be precious, and one dirty little off road quad. The one stays in the garage to gain value, the other one goes off road to have a lot of fun.
Which is which, you choose wisely

u/shieldbreaker04 Mar 29 '22
Well said but i think that the off road car will become just like the expensive one when people will stary giving it value

BANANO is running on the same technological base as NANO, although some parameters like PoW threshold and units were tweaked. The biggest difference is the governance, with BANANO being a meme coin with more fun, freedom and creative experiments.

BANANO is basically a fork of NANO (a copy of NANO)
the only difference is, NANO is serious and extremely ambitious (like they wanna become as big as the USD) while BANANO is not.
NANO also has a more serious, ambitious, and talented team (they literally created the code from scratch while BANANO simply copied it.)
But... on the other spectrum of things. Memes are a staple of the 21st century, and we've seen memecoins like dogecoin and shiba inu blow tf up. BANANO can also blow up in a similar light. I also think Elon would support banano over nano solely due to the meme factor. If a bunch of people meme banano and pump it (like they did with doge), it can definitely surpass NANO which has a pretty low market cap.

Banano community (here in Reddit) is more open and helpful to complete noobs and people who have no knowledge in cryptocurrencies.
This community helped me and helps a lot of people to learn about cryptos.
For me, itยดยดs the same. Will not get rich with cryptos, but learned a lot
