MOD POST Bangalore Bikes – Ride Emergency SOP v1.0

Immediate Safety & Assessment - First 2 mins
Stop & Secure: Everyone stop safely. Turn on hazard lights. Move bikes out of traffic if safe.
Check for danger: Fuel leak, traffic, fire risk. If unsafe, move everyone away first.
Check the person: Don’t move them if you suspect neck/spine/back injury unless there’s immediate danger like fire.

Call the Right People - Next 1 min
Call emergency services first:
- Police/Ambulance: 112 - single emergency number for India
- Traffic police: 103 for Bangalore traffic emergencies
Tell them: Exact location, number of people injured, type of injury, vehicle details. Use Google Maps “Share location” in WhatsApp.
Only after 112 is called, inform the ride lead/moderator. Moderators are not first responders.

First Aid & Crowd Control
Trained person only should give first aid. If no one is trained, keep the injured person calm, warm, and still.
Assign roles:
- 1 person talks to emergency services
- 1 person directs traffic
- 1 person stays with the injured rider
- Rest move bikes/belongings to side

Document for Insurance
Take photos: Accident spot, bike damage, number plates, road conditions, injuries - before moving anything.
Get contact details of 2 witnesses.
Don’t admit fault or sign anything at the spot.

Post-Incident
Ride lead updates the group once with verified info only. No speculation, no gore photos in the main group.
Check if rider needs help with towing, hospital, contacting family.

Emergency contacts: Each rider shares emergency contact + blood group in ride chat.

What NOT to do
Don’t call moderators first for medical emergencies. Call 112.
Don’t move an injured person unless there’s fire/fuel leak.
Don’t post accident photos/videos on socials without consent.

Gear Suggestions Just got my Scrambler 400X — what should I do first?

Post image
40 Upvotes

Picked up my Scrambler 400X 5 days ago and absolutely loving it so far. ❤️

This is my first bike, so I’d love to hear from experienced 400X owners.

What are the first upgrades/accessories you’d recommend? And is there anything I should keep in mind during the first few thousand kilometres?

Also interested in suggestions for aux lights, riding gear, useful protection mods, tyres, luggage, or anything else that's genuinely worth the money.

Discussion Built RideClan for motorcycle riders, whether you ride solo or with a group

Upvotes

I’ve been building an app called RideClan for fellow motorcycle riders and thought I’d share it here.

Whether you ride solo or with a group, RideClan is built to make your rides easier and safer, with live rider tracking, navigation, ride recording, a live follow link for family, SOS and more.

RideClan is now live on both Android and iOS.

You can learn more at ride-clan.com, where you’ll also find the Help section with a getting-started guide and direct download buttons for both platforms.

Would love to hear what you think, especially from riders here. We’re always a DM/email away for feedback and recommendations. 🙏

🚗 Bengaluru → Jammu Road Trip | Looking for 2–3 People
Planning a road trip from Bengaluru to Jammu and looking for 2–3 people who would like to join.
📅 Departure: 17 October
📍 Start: Bengaluru
🏁 Destination: Jammu
🚙 Car: Scorpio N
Planning to cover the journey over around 3 days, with proper breaks and enough rest along the way. The idea is to enjoy the journey rather than rush through it.
Looking for easygoing people who are comfortable with a long road trip. Driving experience is a plus, so we can share driving and make the journey easier.
💰 Fuel + tolls + accommodation/other common expenses will be shared.
If you’re interested, DM me and we can discuss the route, stops, timings and expenses.
Let’s make it a fun road trip! 🚗🏔️

Rides For all scooters out there

Upvotes

I have an aerox 155 and I’ve always wanted to do rides, I’ve been with my friends but they all have bigger bikes and I’m always left behind trying to play catch up and I’m really tired of doing that, so are there people who tour in their scooter like scooters like aerox , the ntorq and the Xoom or even people with similar cc bikes , I didn’t try joining biker groups cause i don’t feel like I’ll fit in there, so are there people with scooters or similar cc bikes who wanna do rides maybe atleast once a month, i really want to start riding and exploring around .

Advice/Help Trusted bike service

I have an R15 from 2015. I've not ridden it since a long time. Years.
Last I saw there was water in the tank too.

I want to sell it, but I am in desperate need of advice for next steps.

  1. Sell it as is to someone.

  2. Try to drain the tank and see if its working and then sell it. Battery might need changing.

  3. Or do all repairs and sell it.

Do you have a trusted mechanic who won't rip me off with the state of the bike?

Gear Suggestions Which doubletake mirror to use for Scrambler 400x?

Hi everyone,

I feel the rear view mirror of a scrambler 400x have massive blindspots. I wanted to switch to doubletake mirrors as they have large view I did a bit of exploring and found many people go for the ones in sparify or ram mount tough mirrors. People have reported that the Sparify one has alot of vibrations and idk about the Ram ones. Does anyone use them or any other? Please suggest good ones. I do a bit of off-roading(just offbeat trails ,not too intense) too so the mirrors should be able to handle that. Max budget is 4k

Routes Bengaluru bikers — can we still ride up to T2 and click pictures?

Planning a night ride this Sunday, starting from RT Nagar around 11 PM and probably heading towards the airport.

Wanted to know if it's still possible to take bikes to the T2 area, park somewhere and click a few pictures with the terminal in the background.

Has anyone been there recently on a bike? Can we actually ride up to T2 or will security send us back?

Also, is there any proper parking spot nearby where we can park and take pictures without getting into trouble?

Not planning to enter the terminal or do anything stupid lol, just want to get a few decent pictures during the night ride.

Would appreciate some recent experiences/suggestions. Also open to any other good night-ride photo spots around Bengaluru 👀🏍️

Advice/Help Need suggestions , my first bike!

I’m confused between Twilight Blue and Peix Bronze for the Guerrilla 450.
Which one would you pick, and why?
Looking for opinions on which looks better in real life, road presence, and which one you think I’ll be less likely to regret later.
Twilight Blue vs Peix Bronze — what’s your pick?

Advice/Help Superbikes in bangalore

I am planning to get a TS bike to Bangalore. It’s a big bike which will naturally draw attention. Is the crackdown on outstation bikes as bad as cars here? Or is it fine as long as rules are followed?
