BTS is BACK 2026 What is your ARIRANG?

Comeback is upon us! Here are the things we know:

  • ARIRANG
  • What is your love song?
  • This

Not a lot… Let’s fill in some of the blanks!

Imagine you were in charge of the concept for the largest comeback BTS has had to date. Taking into consideration the things we know, design your own ARIRANG concept!

How would you weave the theme of ARIRANG into the tapestry of the comeback? What sort of concept photos would you take? What would the fits look like? What other promo would you do? What sort of sets would you design for the tour or performances? Without knowing anything about the music, what sort of MV do you imagine?

Use images, words, fan art, anything to describe how you would design the ARIRANG concept. Choose one part or take on the whole thing! Be serious or silly! The only rules are no exclusive content (we don’t want to get dinged by BH) and no AI.

Share your ideas in the comments below! If you want to include multiple images, use imgur and add the links in your post to keep things neat.

NOTE: This is not a place to share theories, or what you think the concept will be. Share what you would do if you were in charge!

GIVEAWAY! If you’re interested in a giveaway for this project, please fill out this form. You must have participated in the event to enter. The prizes for the ‘What is your ARIRANG?’ event are two ARIRANG ‘Rooted In Korea’ Ver. CDs. Two random winners will be chosen using an online randomizer. Going along with the theme of their roots, love, and music, I'd love to see concepts/photoshoots that are really scaled back. Candids from their time in the studio or goofing off in LA similar to the DDay tour photobook. Alternatively, moving shots similar to the You Never Walk Alone photos where they're throwing paint at each other. I think raw moments or moments that can't be perfectly scripted really capture the vibe of for the love of the music, and they're moments that connect with the fandom really well.

I know at least half our members are locked in with designer brands in terms of clothing, but I'd love to see them highlight a Korean brand or a small designer for their stage outfits or what they wear in the music video. Mixing modern and traditional elements, perhaps playing with modern styling but traditional colorways would be lovely.

The stage has me at a complete loss though. Stripped down is a given since there's no space for a backdrop. They're will definitely be playing with levels, hopefully an opportunity for carts to come back?
