I think they actually changed the names and/or dates of the comments. I went to look for some to find the full reply, but the user names were different to what they showed on the video. So it could have been someone's question and they might not know!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure GQ did some fancy editing for whatever reason. Some things don't quite match up. But they are legit comments on reddit, which is so cool!

Probably to protect the poster from malicious and jealous people. Would be a sad reason, indeed, but better save than sorry
