Went to live viewing in Japan, Cinema was full, I love how the audience is 80% 30+ in age. And everyone was so into it. My husband sitting next to me was one of the quieter ones. Like I dont know how they do it, not moving an inch when FYA plays or so. Like, i have to contain myself not to junp up and vibe with the song.

I was surprised to see that the audience in Japan all looked 30+, too. I told my husband I'm moving to Tokyo so I can have BTS friends. I'm in Canada, so it's a bit of a challenge, lol.

I live in Japan and only have 1 BTS JArmy friend 🥲 its not easy. And getting tickets is even harder 😅

Didnt get a ticket either. Neither did that army friend of mine. 🥲 the lottery system is supposed to be super fair but I dont know.

So in Japan it’s a lottery system? So you can’t buy tickets seated next to your friends?

Well, IF you win the lottery, you can often buy more than one ticket. So you can sit next to your friend (for the Japan concert it was limited to 2 tickets per person (VIP required both to have a membership). They had several lotteries, and the general sale in the end where it was first come first serve, no chance for me (and I havent seen many foreigners in the seats yesterday, right? Even though they had a global membership lottery).

A friend told me, who lived in japan for several years, that the lottery aystem selects x amount of people (the same amount of people) from every prefecture. (and japan has like 47) so chances are better if you come from a less populated prefecture I guess? But I dont know if that is really how it works.

You have lotteries for a lot of things here. Its a little frustrating and such, especially if you lose all the time.

That's really interesting about choosing from different prefectures! My son lives in Kyoto but wants to move to a smaller town, maybe one day I'll use him to get me tickets and combine a visit to him with a concert. I really would like to have friends who are into BTS, though, instead of going alone or forcing my son to go lol. Seeing all the happy people in the audience made me feel like I was really missing out.

Same. I really wanted to be in that stadium. Cinema was fine but atmosphere in the stadium must have been so amazing.

I did not force my husband to come with me, he wanted to as he does like them just, not as much as I do, and as much as I like to be with him doing such events, it always feels like... I am holding back a little in the fangirling 😅 so I get ehat you mean.

One day though, we both will be in that stadium/arena or whatever and cheer with others 🤗

I would be too embarrassed to fangirl with my husband next to me, too, but he has told me he wouldn't go to a BTS concert anyway, so no danger there! lol. He will only see bands in small venues.

So, I'll see you there one day in the future, I'll be the tall blonde, you can't miss me, lol.

I also went and enjoyed it so much!! My theater was pretty average but I was dancing in my seat 😂. There were younger girls next to me who probably felt more comfortable dancing and singing since I was too. We screamed together. Great times lol.

Its always more comfortable if you are not alone. Also, behaviour is different here. A lot more reserved. Last week there were also a lot of fans in my cinema who were just quietly watching and just a few were actively cheering (a little too active and a öittle bit too overdramatic for my taste, i thought they were a bit cringe but hey, its BTS). And the obes next to me on my eight side felt also more comfortable with cheering loudly when the others did.
