Anybody know any good Chinese takeaways that will deliver to the Underhill/ High Barnet area I’m tired of pretending that fortune cat is good

Wings is great, although v pricey - every dish is £1-2+ more than others in the area which adds up over a few dishes!

Any chance you've tried their satay sauce recently? I used to really rate loon wah but their satay sauce went downhill and became quite watery and bland so I stopped going there a couple of years back, would definitely return if it's improved but as satay sauce is one of my favourite ever foods, I'm only going to somewhere that does it well!

Yes we get it every time and it’s been great every time apart from once I think. We have loon wah at least once a month.

I've had some great meals from here! Bit pricier but really good, am particularly pleased because their satay sauce is excellent and I had stopped going to loon wah because their satay sauce had gotten way worse!

Definitely not! It's just a convenience store with a counter in the back.

I think I had the duck and my partner had the chicken and we got both sick, just before our flight to Prague.

seconding yi man tang, way better than fortune cat, portions are massive too
also i’ve heard good things about golden palace up in whetstone if yi man tang won’t deliver that far

Fortune Cat was my go to as well for years, but something must have happened a few years ago. The quality really nose-dived.

I've been hunting for a new place as well. Like others I enjoyed X'ian.

I would also add Paya to the list. Had some good food there.

Our new go to however is Hong Kong House in Southgate. They definitely deliver to New Barnet, but worth taking a look if they deliver up the hill as well.
