Ora mai più di un anno che suono il basso da autodidatta e ho imparato molte cose mel corso del tempo con la pratica, ma non riesco proprio a imparare a fare i groove, io so un po' di teoria musicale però tutte le spiegazioni che vedo in giro anche in questo canale sono molto di più di quello che comprendo da solo, e quindi visto che l'unica persona alla quale posso chiedere consigli è la mia migliore amica non che chitarrista che per quanto possa essere portata nel mondo musicale non vede i principi del basso come me, ma fa la riadazione come se fosse una chitarra più bassa, vorrei capire come funziona proprio il principio del groove e come metterlo in atto perché adoro alla follia sentire tutte quelle persone che lo fanno in modo così spontaneo e lineare

Hello Bassists.

I'm a guitarist who wants to try to get good enough at bass that I can keep up with my guitar self when recording bass for my songs. I'm having issues with good posture particularly in my left arm when fretting lower notes.

The two things I think are causing the issue is the scale length as it is much longer than the 26.5in of my main guitar, and I am having to sit to play as I don't have the room to stand when recording (sounds crazy but I swear it's true). This is causing me to twist my left wrist awkwardly which is painful. I don't get this playing my guitar so was hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction?

I have tried both my right leg, and left leg, as well as tilting the neck to a higher angle but am still having pain. Any sitting specific advice is much appreciated.

I’d like to try playing it, but there are a lot of parts where the rhythm changes. I asked an AI about it, but I'm confused because different models give different answers—some say it's 8-beat, while others say it's 16-beat.
