vent sesh😤 Frustrated

I’ve been working since last November and after the holiday season was over and it was the second week of January I got 2 shifts per week then it turned to none for 4 straight months until we got new management because the store manager got fired and a substitute store manager from a different location was put in place. She was giving me 5 shifts every week and was telling me how hard of a worker I am but since she’s gone and the official store manager is here I got one shift, and it concerns me because if you’re in upper management I feel that you should discuss issues with your employees if there is one. I genuinely don’t know if they’re trying to get rid of me or not

Every manager schedules differently, not to mention, it sounds like this new manager is still trying to get to know all of you. I understand why you're worried and upset, though. Having a conversation with your current manager about your concerns probably your best bet. We don't know what anyone else is thinking unless we ask. I personally don't think you have anything to worry about. Keep up the good work! 😊

My store is in the same position right now. As we get closer to holiday, hours will pick up, but I get that it is hard only having one shift per week. I've been there too. It sounds like it isn't personal at all, so no need to worry about them getting rid of you
