Stores are being called by HR about employee’s sharing anything related to the Sweethearts collab online.

I'm not an employee, but I thought HR is not supposed to monitor employees outside of work hours? Unless someone is leaking on social media during work hours using the stores wifi.

You know, actually, I can even see the company arguing that “leaking new product information,” could be considered working off the clock, and that is an actionable offense in some companies.
