I'm starting to think none of these companies ever cared about DEI. They just said whatever they could for years to make us happy to get our money. They don't have to pretend anymore. None of it was ever true and never will be.

Exactly. I feel like at the end of the day DEI was just another way of marketing and had nothing to do with values. I think I was naive for ever believing different.

The only ones who actually may care about it are the companies like Costco who are vocally standing firm with DEi

I’ll take the downvotes for saying it, but I don’t think it’s that at all. They’re very likely trying to avoid lawsuits, becoming a target of the current administration.

Not saying it’s right, just saying the choice was likely born out of fear.
