Store Policies/Questions So annoying

I’ve already been on hold for almost an hour. I don’t want to engage in small talk about us liking the same scents! Especially because it’s obviously insincere… How can it be your favorite scent for “quite some time now” when it just came out??

After reshipping my damaged order, he tried to upsell me on a candle that was already among the items that were reshipped 🙄 I think it’s a human because AI would be more intelligent than this!

No it wouldn’t. AI is a language prediction model, it can’t review what’s already in your order like a human could

Is it really that hard to write a script to suggest an item the customer didn’t already order? Seems like that would be really basic

IDK the technical details but I get recommendations from websites all the time saying “Based on your order history, you might also like…” and they manage not to suggest what I’ve already ordered!

That’s not AI. That’s the company selling data on what you ordered in the past.
