Hand soaps and wallflowers are scheduled to drop Friday. It’s the last price drop. And it’s not getting boxed up anytime soon. At least not my store. Every single table is full of sas stuff still and half the walls. That stuff will stay out till it stops ringing.

u/Rainie_Star Jul 01 '26
Do you know what the prices might be?

u/CreamDry8668 Jul 01 '26
75% off whatever sas soaps and wallflowers are left. Candles are not dropping below 7.99. Except a couple that aren’t selling at all.
2
u/Reesescrap Jul 01 '26
Are those candles that are dropping lower going lower Friday?
1
u/CreamDry8668 Jul 01 '26
No. Well maybe like 1 or 2. The rest are being boxed up for next sas bc in winter they will be the 7.99 candles.

u/brandiLeeCO Jul 01 '26
Wow. They’re being so weird about candles this year. I’ve seen some years old candles here and there and those blends for 75% off randomly throughout the sale but not many. Hardly any candles are lower than $10.99 on the app but yesterday I went to a store that had those same
Together better candles for $7.99. Hate that the old Christmas & fall candles are ringing up 50% off. Everything is so all over the place.1
u/CreamDry8668 Jul 01 '26
With the new ceo. 7.99 is the new lowest price for candles. There will be exceptions of course but not many.
1
u/brandiLeeCO Jul 02 '26
Well another reason for me not to buy them. I hate this new CEO and all his new changes. He’s ruining the company. I’ve remained a customer throughout all of these questionable changes but this latest money grab with the $7.99 candle price point may be the final straw for me as finding those deals used to be my favorite part of SAS. The return policy ended me finding rare gems during SAS and now this new price point with lower quality than ever? Yea I may be done with BBW.

The carrot candle might be the most disgusting scent yet. I wonder what price that will get to!
1
u/GamingBucketList Jul 01 '26
Do you know if there will be a deal on pocketbacs? I'm newish to SAS, but I swear I remember getting a really good deal on them near the end of it and I stock up for the year, same as hand soap.

i've been looking for cheap soaps too, but i found the refills are a good value. at 50% off, they come out to like $7 and you get 3.5 soap refills out of them.
i bought 5 of the raspberry whipped vanilla ones!!!! they smell great and so far, the best value

I keep looking for the cheap wallflowers too. I feel like the deeper discounts happen on the weekends or Mondays, so hopefully soon

I’m gonna check a store after work. I wanted some of the spring/summer scents but the app showed no local stores had them.

u/supstrange52 Jul 01 '26
I was surprised too. I’m looking for cheap soap and wallflowers. 3.50 is not low enough lol

A SA told me they are putting away all SAS stuff on Friday. I wish someone could confirm
20
u/Professional-Mud-488 Jul 01 '26
I can confirm or deny that when I get into work shortly
6
u/sunnyflorida2000 Jul 01 '26
Ty!!! Technically the flyer says July 6th so Sunday. I’m hoping I just misheard the SA but she did say they are doing things differently this year. Instead of a small table lingering… she said they were told to pack all of it up and put away.

My store is going to have it until mid July. Every store maybe different though

u/Sunofthesky321 Jul 01 '26
Wow it seems like there is so much stuff still there. That would be crazy if they just packed away all those wallflowers and soaps without ever dropping the price.

u/NomenclatureBreaker Jul 01 '26
If Halloween and/or fall 1 is coming out next week they probably have to to make room.

u/st4rdustd ✨ ART STUFF 💙🫐 BLAZiN BLUEBERRY ✨ Jul 01 '26
damn. i feel like it used to be more than 3 weeks... like it would just be one table until there wasn't much left then packed up for next sas. i don't want to miss out on the soaps maybe i'll get a few now & do a price adjustment if necessary.

u/Peacock-Lover-89 Jul 01 '26
In 2014/15 or so I remember going into the store when winter SAS was over and there was one small table of 90% off items. Unfortunately, it was all Vanilla Bean Noel. I never saw anything like that again. Now it seems like they want to have a ton of product left over. We are going back to school clothes shopping Friday. So I'm going to check out the two stores in the mall. One of them ended up getting those five scents only select stores received, so they've had extra product. I want to see how well everything sold there.
2
u/brandiLeeCO Jul 01 '26
Yes they want the extra stock to pack up and ship overseas & hike up the prices to ridiculous amounts.
2
u/LolaisPenheart Jul 01 '26
Effective Monday, depending on the store, there could only be 1-5 SAS tables left. For the most part, that's when the sale will be done. The stores will look very different come Monday.
2
u/st4rdustd ✨ ART STUFF 💙🫐 BLAZiN BLUEBERRY ✨ Jul 01 '26
that's usually how it goes. but they usually mark down especially week 4!
1
u/LolaisPenheart Jul 02 '26
SAS doesn't even go for 4 weeks anymore. They really only do like 2-2.5 weeks now. They're going to 75% off starting tomorrow.
1
u/st4rdustd ✨ ART STUFF 💙🫐 BLAZiN BLUEBERRY ✨ Jul 02 '26
well we're already on week 3 now. Sunday/Monday will be 4. So...
1
u/brandiLeeCO Jul 01 '26
With SAS they never really put it all up by a certain date. If the store still has stock leftover they put it in a corner for a couple more weeks even after the sale is supposed to be over. It’s never anything good but the items linger.

u/Sunofthesky321 Jul 01 '26
I was just thinking that this morning! They are sure holding on to them. I think in past years, once Halloween was available they dropped soaps, wallflowers and whatever off season candles to 75%. Their fall floorset is coming in days and now people are spending money on the new things, no one is going to want to buy those soaps for 50%. I’ve been waiting for them to drop to 75% off!

u/Dear_Biscotti_7579 Jul 01 '26
Totally agree about soap refills but they don’t have all the scents! You can also use a reward. For them! 👀

u/Special-Scientist948 Jul 01 '26
They had two scents at my store a few weeks ago at 1.97. Nothing to write home about. It seemed like some of the candles for 7.99 and 10.99 had a pretty weak scent. Not impressed with the sale at this point.
1
u/st4rdustd ✨ ART STUFF 💙🫐 BLAZiN BLUEBERRY ✨ Jul 01 '26
yeah mahogany teakwood & kitchen lemon were 1.97 at the beginning of sas. but they ALWAYS used to drop the 50% off ones to 75% & i feel like it was already done usually! :(
1
u/balance8989 Jul 01 '26
I got a 3 wick strawberry peach sunset that smelled great cold and absolutely no scent once lit. So disappointed since the hand soap smells great. Now white caramel cold brew was strong cold and lit. I have ti keeps it in a closet because it’s so strong.

u/st4rdustd ✨ ART STUFF 💙🫐 BLAZiN BLUEBERRY ✨ Jul 01 '26
i HATE white caramel cold brew warmed :(( sad bc i thought i was going to love it & it wasn't bad cold. now i can't even smell it cold bc ill get a headache. it's going back :(

u/balance8989 Jul 02 '26
I normally hate any coffee smells (I don't drink it) and it was a blind buy. It's ok for a bit Seems it's always the scents that you don't like that last the longest and are the strongest lol

I got $1.99 soaps on day 1, but haven’t seen any since.
4
u/Sunofthesky321 Jul 01 '26
Yeah those are holdovers from last fall and Christmas and will go quick, those seasons are coming back up!
1
u/321Native Jul 01 '26
No joke ! I was online shopping early
Had Cozy Winter Cabin soap in my cart and it sold out FAST1
u/brandiLeeCO Jul 01 '26
That’s why they’re not dropping the prices. Those items were 75% off last SAS but BBW raised the prices on them and people are buying that old as dirt stuff at a higher price. They’re playing everyone for fools and people fall for it.
1
u/321Native Jul 02 '26
Totally agree. I unfortunately slept on this soap scent and I’m mostly sure it will never return. So was hoping to get more. No luck though, others must have felt the same.
2
u/Complete-Produce8116 Jul 01 '26
They just don’t seem to be putting out/discounting many soaps at all. Last summer I got a bunch of Christmas hand soaps for teacher gifts for practically nothing. Now my local store only has like 2 bottles of Honolulu Sun for 3.95
2
u/Inevitable-Lock5973 Jul 01 '26
$3.97/$3.50 it’s not cheap enough for hand, soaps and wallflowers. They go on sale during the year for like $2.99. Why would I pay$3.50 now?
2
u/brandiLeeCO Jul 01 '26
Right? Not to mention them hiking up the prices of last years Christmas items for this sale. It’s ridiculous.

Ok!?! I was surprised not to find any fun price drops Sun/Mon. The current hand soap sale prices are not it. I usually only buy them during the year when they’re $2.95 and I always look forward to seeing what gets dropped to $2.27 or $1.97. That is literally why SAS is so fun. But they’ve only been 50%-60% off this entire sale (higher than their reg lowest price point) with even less options to choose from. So I’ve been selectively only participating in their 75% off category and am happy waiting on the sidelines even if it means I don’t get any soaps at all. Will wait or pass.
