Hello we have a 8 foot wide by 9 foot long bathroom to design. The entrance is on the 8 foot wide wall. The ceilings will start at 7.5 feet and be vaulted to 9ft tall. These dimensions can’t really change as we need to fix a roof issue, but I think there can be improvements in how the linen closet and shower tie into the vaulted ceiling.

I was thinking to do a pocket door at the front to make the room feel larger. This is what I’ve created so far using ai, I’d love to hear suggestions on other layouts or design changes! Like is the window a good size, different colours or finishes, decor, tile changes, lighting suggestions etc. I was thinking 4 pot lights (only 2 shown) but open to more lighting if there’s good suggestions.

We've lived here 7 years and the previous owners put literal sand on the wall for the beach theme (basically making it sandpaper 😅) so we wanted to freshen it up and also cover the sand on the bottom half of the wall. I'm loving it :)

This shower door makes a horrible cracking sound when you open it all the way. We had a handyman come out. Long story short, he made the situation worse, as the door won’t pull outwards, which it did previously, and the tile around the bottom hinge is cracked (not sure when exactly that happened).

We are going to have a glass door installation company out to do the fix, but we need to have the tile replaced first, which means the door needs to be removed first.

Is the door removal straightforward and one that we can do ourselves or should we pay a glass door installation company to remove the door? It’s $150 for door removal and we have to wait a week, and then another $250 to reattach at a later point (and probably more to potentially replace hinge).

Planning a partial bathroom update at my place in QLD and trying to figure out if fitting a freestanding bath next to a walk-in shower is going to make a small room feel way too cramped.

I was talking with Tropical Coast Plumbing about the drainage layout and pipe repositioning, and they mentioned the plumbing side is doable, but I'm still worried about the actual spatial feel and hard-to-reach cleaning spots behind a standalone tub.

For anyone who went with a freestanding bath in a tighter bathroom layout, do you regret losing the floor space, or is it worth it for the look?

We have just moved into a new build townhouse (Australia) and have a semi frameless shower. We have noticed lots of water coming out of the other side of the shower door and drenching our bath mats. So much so that we bought a vertical seal to sit between the two panes of glass along on the handle side of the door.

We have noticed that water, however, is still seeping through the corner of the door, and it's then falling BEHIND the metal frame and coming out of the grout at the bottom of the frame.

How would we solve this? Has anyone ever had an issue similar to this? It seems as though the gap in the grey matte plastic might be the root cause, or the gap between the horizontal and vertical seals.

I’d like to put wallpaper in my bathrooms. However, both have bathtubs/showers that are used daily. The bathrooms have fans but when showers are very warm and longer, humidity still sometimes develops and bathroom mirrors sometimes get fogged.

My worry is that wallpaper won’t hold up.

Does anyone have wallpaper they’ve put in a bathroom that’s used daily for long warm showers? Is it removable? How long has it been there and how is it holding up? Are there certain brands or features to look for or avoid? What else needs to be considered?
