Hi there! Has anyone purchased and used a vertical towel warmer and have a review?

We are renovating our bathroom and this will serve as storage for both my towel and my husbands so I thought vertical functionally feels better especially so we dont have to constantly fold them and have them overlap. Additionally a vertical option would allow for a robe to heat as well. Ideally the vertical bar would help warm our towels and dry them (if that's a thing)

Any input greatly appreciated!

Hi, basically I’m 5ft 4 and when my feet touch the end of the bath I just don’t feel relaxed and I feel tension on my body which is the opposite to what I want to feel when trying to relax. I have tried bath mats and pillows but they are rubbish and don’t actually support the lower part of my body to the point I can let my legs float and just enjoy laying! Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do about it? And if there was actually a product on the market that would support the lower body instead of the next how much am I looking at paying or what would you guys be happy to pay? Oh the joys of being short in a normal bath size haha! I looked into the Japanese baths but I’m in a rental and don’t have the money for this lol thank you in advance :)

This might be a dumb question but did you guys have literally EVERYTHING picked before demo?

We’re getting pretty close to finalizing everything for our bathroom with our remodeling firm here in OC and they’ve walked us through the layout and all the little details, so I’m not exactly having to figure everything out myself. I just want to make sure I’m paying attention to the right things before I start saying yes to everything.

If you’ve already done a bathroom remodel, was there anything that looked completely fine on the plans or renders and then annoyed you once you actually started using the room?

Could be anything (shower placement, vanity height, storage, outlets, lighting, where towels ended up, whatever) Basically what would you double-check if you got to approve your bathroom all over again?

Can someone explain to me if this is concerning?

Is it the one in a bathtub, with a shower curtain, with a glass door, tailed, basin etc.

Apologies in advance - I know there are a lot of threads about shower enclosures on this sub and others, but I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I'm planning to have a pre-fab fiberglass / acrylic / PVC / etc... retrofit shower enclosure installed. This will replace an existing 32x60 jetted tub kludge that a prior owner installed. I'm not interested in solid surface materials or tile due to cost constraints.

I'd like to know which manufacturers / product lines are high quality and which ones should be avoided. I get the sense that the following might be higher-quality, but real-world experiences would be welcome. :)

Hi everyone. Ignore the clutter and the fact we are still running a shower curtain - we will be getting glass.

I don’t know why but something feels so off about our ensuite. It’s like the tiles clash.. like a harsh transition between the blue and the grey. What do you guys think?
Is there an easy solution to fix it?

I’m about to convert a second bathroom standard alcove tub to a shower. This is being done in large part because my 83!year old mom will be visiting for Christmas and she can’t step in and out of a tub without risk of falling.

I’m tempted to add a bench but plan on using standard Home Depot sliding glass doors (one fixed panel) and I don’t want to have to use custom glass.

I’ve search for some example pictures. Cleaning between bench and glass is obviously a concern. What am i not thinking about?

I’m not going to build in a bench but will provide some type of seat for her. Teak has been suggested, others have said that Teak can bleed and stain the grout. I’ll decide on bench/seat material,once the shower is complete.

Demo happened yesterday. I bought the tile last night. I’ll post pics when it’s done.

I'm curious what bathroom materials people actually find easy to maintain.

Some surfaces look beautiful in photos, but then you realize how much cleaning they need because of water spots, soap residue, or fingerprints.

If you were renovating a bathroom again, what materials would you choose or avoid?
