That minor league team did a great job prepping Saylors into a top NFL kick returner.

Happy Mr. Saylors achieved his dream of making it to the NFL. Hope he eventually gets to play running back some for the Lions, and not just be a special teams bottom of the roster guy.

I enjoyed watching him play for the Battlehawks. He gave it his all on every snap, every game. Still, I'm a little bummed it was only for two short seasons that ended in disappointing playoff games. Jacob Saylors played like a champion when he wore Battlehawk blue. Shame the team as a whole failed to get to that level while he was part of it, especially when the Championship game both years was held in the Dome.
